How overspray damage has made auto manufacturers make changes to new vehicles  My name is Jeff Suggs, owner & operator of National Overspray Removal Service.  I specializes in the removal of Protective Coatings and Polyurethane spray-foam in the form of overspray damage to vehicles. Over a 1,000 vehicles a day are damaged by paint overspray in the United States, costing more than one-half billion dollars in damages and insurance claims every year. The cost of repairing a vehicle from overspray damage verses repainting a vehicle saves insurers thousands

There are few if any companies that are capable of removing the overspray from these parts. It takes much more time and effort to repair textured pieces on a vehicle. Most people will simply tell the owner or insurer that the trim and molding pieces are not cleanable. Manufacturers have been forced to make changes to new vehicles. One of the reasons for this is the parts and labor cost to replace these pieces. This costs insurance companies millions annually.

This is one of the main reasons American and import manufacturers have made changes to the exterior designs of new vehicles. A few examples of these changes can be seen on the 2015 Cadillac Escalade, Volkswagens, and the Nissan Maxima vehicles. All door moldings and trim pieces have smooth surfaces and they have either a semi-flat or high gloss finish. There is no back or front glass trim on these vehicles and even the door handles have a smooth finish. These vehicles can be repaired from overspray damage using one of the safest methods, a clay-bar.

This is a good thing for everyone involved from the owners to the insurers and the manufacturers. The insurers have saved millions of dollars since these changes have been made. This also helps anyone in the overspray removal business, detail-shops and individuals that want to make their own repairs. The video linked below demonstrates the changes made to the 2015 Volkswagens. I repaired 227 vehicles and saved up to an hour on the repairs done to the vehicles that have had the trim and molding changes.

Best results for managing Paint overspray Removal Claims For Insurance Companies My name is Jeff Suggs, owner and operator of Auto Paint Overspray Removal of Texas Onsite Services.  Our mobile crews can be dispatched anywhere nationwide within 24 hours of accepting the claim.  We’re a Houston Texas based company that has repaired thousands of vehicles managing claims all over the USA.  With over 2 decades of hands on experience in overspray removal, managing claims, customer relations, bidding on jobs and much more.  The first thing to think about when discussing an overspray problem with an insurer is to let them know that you are going to save them thousands by repairing every piece of the vehicle.  When it comes to all parties involved, you want to assure them that they are in good hands.  We do this by showing them some of our demonstration videos.  Another great way to gain the confidence of the insurers or claimants is to direct them to the internet.

When our customers see our demonstration videos and web presence, It lets them know that they are in very capable hands.  We have invented several methods of overspray removal from auto paint, glass, trim, and molding pieces.   We are one of the few if any that removes overspray from auto trim pieces.  Other major companies try to repaint these parts which voids the owner’s vehicle warranty.  When bidding on a large claim, we always tell the insurer to check other companies websites to see what types of services they offer.  You may wonder why would anyone tell an insurance company to go and check other companies websites.  The answer to that is, no other company in the world can offer our services.  Those are not just words, we have the videos streaming all over the net to prove it.

We believe that showing someone your work is much better than telling them about it.   If given the choice most people would want to see your work before you start on their vehicle.  We have most experienced technicians on the planet.  We  provide video documentation of every vehicle we repair.  We always make sure the videos on our website are of new vehicles.  Everyone is well aware of how much work is involved in repairing black vehicles.  This is why we have lots of black high-end vehicles on our website.  We repair every piece of the vehicle from all damages even when its not related to the overspray claim.  Its all about building confidence with the insurer and most of all the claimants.  When dealing with someone that has an overspray problem, you have to let them know without a doubt their in good hands.

The bottom video is a 2011 black Mercedes Benz ML350 that has a severe case of Polyurethane spray-foam overspray damage.  At the beginning of the video I produce an estimate for 8,066.82 to repaint, replace trim & molding pieces, emblems, front grill, top luggage rack, back tell lights, front head lights, ect.  The owner happily signed our standard release form for the repairs.  Polyurethane cannot be removed 100% by the normal cleaning methods.  The technique that I demonstrate in this video is something I call “blading or shaving” auto paint surfaces.  No one has ever been able to duplicate my cleaning process.  This means no manner how bad the overspray damage maybe, there is nothing that I cannot repair.  There is no need for rental cars because all work is done onsite.  This also allows our customers to observe our cleaning process first hand.
